1) Tests will be conducted according to the scheduled time-table.
2) The average marks of the unit test, half yearly and final examination will be considered for promotion to the next class.
3) A student who is absent for any test or examination will on no account be re-tested.
4) Cheating in an examination will result in a zero in the subject and if repeated, further action will be taken.
5) No student will be allowed go to home early after appearing for a test.
6) In case of test or exams having to be postponed owing to unavoidable circumstance, they will be conducted after the last test.
7) Failure in English Subject will result in detention.
8) A student who fails twice consecutively in the same class will have to leave the school
1) Rules for promotion will be as per Council for The Indian School Certificate Examination.
2) Promotions are decided on the students’ progress throughout the year based on the periodical tests and examinations.
3) Report cards are not presented till all fees are paid in full.
4) Promotions are indicated in the final report and students are promoted to their new classes in March each year.
5) Students absenting themselves frequently during the year or missing the Final Examination are liable to lose their promotion.
6) Failure in a class may be due to:
(i) Failure in English (Language + Literature).
(ii) Failure in two or more subjects.
7) Promotions once refused will not be reconsidered under any circumstances.
